Peacefully in Raigmore Hospital, Inverness on 9th November 2024, Margaret Burton James (nee Rodgers/formerly Scott), aged 82 years, Leys Drive, Inverness (former proprietor, Chalky’s Licensed Grocers). Beloved wife of the late Bob James and the late Pat Scott, much loved mum of David and his wife Fiona, adored granny of Cameron and Fin, also a dear sister, sister-in-law, auntie, god-mother and good friend to many.
A celebration of Margaret’s life will be held on Friday 22nd November 2024 at 2pm in Inverness Crematorium. All welcome to attend. No flowers please. Donations in memory of Margaret towards Spokes For Folks, Inverness may be given at the door.

Peacefully, in Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, on 27th October, 2024, John Prentice Shepherd (Jack), aged 95 years, Druim Avenue, Inverness. Beloved husband of Shirley, much loved father of Andrew, David and Robert, also a dear grandpa, great-grandpa, brother and uncle.
