Funeral Announcement Mr David Main

It is with sadness we announce the sudden passing of Mr David Main at his home, 7 Glebe Road, Nairn on Wednesday 1st July 2026. David was a man of profound Christian faith, which was a defining aspect of his life.

Funeral service at St Ninians Church, Nairn (a church with significant family connections) on Wednesday 8th July at 1.00pm, thereafter to Nairn Cemetery. All friends respectfully invited, family flowers only but donations in lieu if desired to The British Heart Foundation and Marie Curie Nurses After the service, the interment will occur at Nairn Cemetery.

We ask you to keep Mairi in your thoughts and prayers at this sad time.

Peacefully in Raigmore Hospital on Thursday 18th June 2026, John Treasurer MacNeil (Iain), aged 81 years, Muirfield Road, Inverness. Beloved husband of Fiona, proud father of Roderick, also a dear brother and good friend to many.

Funeral service on Monday 13th July 2026 at 12 noon in D. Chisholm & Sons Funeral Home, Huntly Street, Inverness to which all are welcome to attend; thereafter cremation private.

Funeral Announcement – Mr Norman Walker

Peacefully at Royal Northern Infirmary Hospital, Inverness, on Thursday, 11th June 2026, Norman Walker, aged 72 years, of Brookfield, Culloden Moor. Beloved husband of Joyce, a dearly loved brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, and friend to many.

A funeral service will take place at Midmills Church (Crown), Inverness, on Wednesday, 24th June 2026 at 10.30am, interment thereafter at Banchor Cemetery, Newtonmore at 1pm. All friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please.

For those not travelling to Newtonmore refreshments will be served in the upstairs hall after the Service, where people can sit together and share their memories of Norman.

Transport to Newtonmore – to assist those travelling to Newtonmore for the Interment, we are co-ordinating car-sharing.

If you need a lift: If you would like to attend the Interment but do not have transport, please let Fiona know, and she will do her best to pair you with someone offering a lift.

Devoted husband of the late Norma and loving father of Iain and Alastair, much loved father in law of Linda and Lisa, grandad of Paul, Gemma and Cameron and proud great-grandad of Jackson. Retired Board Executive Director with The Royal Bank of Scotland and a keen golfer and curler. A lady that was generous to all and lived a full life. Beloved wife of the late Don, the most loving sister to Olive, also much loved by George and Caroline and by her many friends and neighbours in Aultnaskiach.
