Recital at St Stephen’s 6 January 2023

Music Inverness:  January – April 2023

St Stephen’s continues to be the new home for a programme of chamber music recitals, with a total of 10 concerts between now and the end of April: mostly at 1pm on Fridays or Sundays at 4pm.

This coming Friday 6th January at 1pm we welcome cellist Hattie McGregor who grew up on the Black Isle before going south for her musical studies. Playing with her is another very talented young Scottish musician, Finlay Hay, on the guitar.  Their programme includes work by Manuel de Falla and Bella Bartok.

Suggested donation is £10 at the door, or £8 for those who take out a membership of the Music Society.

The other concert this month is on Thursday 26th January at 7.30pm when the Perseus Duo (violin and piano) perform at Crown Church. Do come along when you can in the months ahead to enjoy fine music being brought to us from across Scotland and beyond. More details from Andrew Stevenson: stevenson.ata@btinternet.com
