You are warmly invited to come and enjoy a series of spring recitals.
The concert at St Stephen’s Church on Sunday 24th April has unfortunately had to be cancelled due to illness and will now be rescheduled later in the summer.
The other 5 recitals of the Spring Festival will however continue as advertised, with the Whitebridge Trio performing at 1pm on Monday 25th April at the Town House.
On Monday 25th April at 1.00pm, lunchtime concerts return to Inverness Town House after a gap of over five years to allow for the splendid refurbishment of the Main Hall. We will be graced by the beautiful voices of JULIE HARVEY (soprano), ANNE-MARIE BYRNE (mezzo) and pianist MARK HINDLEY. Their programme starts with three songs by Henry Purcell and there follows a cornucopia of beautiful music from across the centuries, culminating in the delightful Pur ti Miro (I gaze on you) from L’Incoronatione di Poppea by Claudio Monteverdi.
Tickets for either of these two concerts cost £10 with under 16s being free. Either book in advance by sending an email to jamesdmunro@btinternet.com or just pay at the door on arrival by cash or card.
