Tonya Clement is a Russian-born pianist based in the Highlands. She graduated from Music School in Moscow, having studied with a highly regarded Soviet piano educator Larisa Myravyova. During 2016-2017 Tonya studied with the internationally renowned concert pianists and recording artists Jill Crossland in Yorkshire and Sinae Lee in Glasgow.
Tonya has recently completed her postgraduate studies in Piano Performance at the University of Leeds.
Since appearing in the Pianist Magazine and Schott Music Piano Showcase in London in 2015, Tonya has been performing in solo concerts for various Music Societies and Art Centres across the UK. This autumn she won a scholarship to continue studying at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland on a Masters in Teaching Artist. www.tonyaclement.co.uk
Liz McLardy – soprano – originated from Lancashire and lives in Beauly. Over the years she has performed in many Highland concerts and productions: the most recent of these being a recital of Strauss’ Four Last Songs – arranged for voice, piano and clarinet – and a series of concerts of Baroque music. She also sings with The Highland Swing Band When not singing, she is a fitness instructor for older adults.
