Welcome to the Web site of Old High St Stephen's Church.
We serve a parish which includes some of the growing suburbs and much of the city centre of Inverness, the capital of the Highlands. Our parish takes in various districts of Inverness, in whole or in part, including Crown, Drummond, Lochardil, Culduthel and Slackbuie. We have chaplaincy links to schools within the parish- Lochardil Primary School and Inverness Royal Academy. We also have important links to the Highland Council’s Inverness city committee, as we host the annual Kirking of the Council .
Although we are one congregation, we worship in two beautiful places of worship- St Stephen’s Church in Southside Road, and the Old High Church in the city centre.
We are a parish church of Scotland’s national church, the Church of Scotland.
The Minister is the Rev Peter W Nimmo BD ThM. The congregation is also served by our Pastoral Assistant, the Rev Douglas Clyne.
