Overseas Mission We have adopted, with other churches, the building of a church and school by Waqas Moazzam in Pakistan as our Overseas Mission and he writes to thank OHSS for their contribution. He also writes to tell you that he hopes to open the school in March. Things are very different there, no Health and Safety or school inspections.

He asks the congregation of OHSS to pray for his work in hiring teachers and for the completion of the building. They are grateful that the recent elections were largely peaceful but are not sure yet of the toleration of the new regime to Christians. They would also ask for our prayers for protection, as robbers do not just rob, they kill as well.

Home Mission Our mission at home is our Outreach to the OHSS Parish, to ‘reach out’ and deliver an Easter Card with an invitation to come to OHSS and indicating the activities on offer to the 2,300 homes in our Parish. Many of these homes are new and we have the privilege of spreading the Good News, “Passing the brightness to our neighbours till the world is full of light.”
