It is great to see Peter getting his strength back and taking over the reins again at Old High St Stephen’s. Perhaps now is the time for all of us to re-generate our own energies so that we continue to build up the strength of our Church organizations and institutions.

Ezekiel speaks of the bones being as dust, without the sinews that would hold them together being firm, full of energy and elasticity. The sinews would also give the bones direction so that they would operate the body cohesively.

With Peter returning it is an excellent opportune time to review the strength of our sinews at OHSS. We have the bones – good quality bones – throughout our church. Let us ensure that the Session, Board and the whole congregation all combine with the Minister to maintain good quality sinews.
