Choir Concert

Once again this year, St Stephen’s choir are joining with the Inverness Royal Academy Senior Choir to give a concert for charity in St Stephen’s Church on Thursday 24 April at 7.30pm.

IRA choir pupils have chosen the charity SNAP, a local children’s charity, which offers after-school and holiday activities for children with special needs.

This year’s programme, as usual, covers a wide varied repertoire, both choirs singing by themselves, an organ piece by one of the pupils and items from Vivaldi’s “ Gloria “ sung by the joint choirs with an alto solo sung by one of the IRA girls.

The concert, as well as raising money for charity, aims to give the pupils experience of performance and confidence in singing in a larger group. Last year’s concert was virtually a full house so come along early to ensure you get a seat.
