MINISTER’S HOLIDAYS Peter will be on holiday from 2-23 July. For any pastoral matters during that time, please contact your elder or the Rev Arthur Sinclair.
THE SACRAMENT OF HOLY COMMUNION will be celebrated at St Stephen’s today. All are welcome at the Lord’s Table. There will be a retiring collection in aid of Mary’s Meals.
AFTERNOON COMMUNION AT ST STEPHEN’S An informal communion will be held at 3 pm this afternoon, led by the Minister. Although this is mostly for those who are unable to come to church regularly, all are welcome.
SUNDAY EVENING DISCUSSION GROUP will meet at St Stephen’s for the last time before the summer break at 7pm this evening when it will discuss Sam Wells’ reflections on a Christian perspective on the issues of Ecology and Ecumenism. More details from Andrew Stevenson.
KIRK SESSION meeting has been postponed until Thursday, 1 August, at St Stephen’s. The Leadership meeting arranged for that date will be re-scheduled.
OLD HIGH CHURCH OPENING PROGRAMME The Church Opening programme is once again proving popular with both tourists and local people. We are open from 10.00-12.00 and 2-4pm on Tuesday-Friday each week. New Volunteers are welcome on a regular or occasional basis. For more information contact Sheila MacLeod.

OHSS SUMMER OUTING BEAULY RIVER 7 JULY Due to the success of last year’s walk and refreshments, the outing is to be repeated this year. I hope you can join us. Meet St Stephen’s Car Park 2pm or Black Bridge Car Park near Kilmorack 2.30pm. Low level walk with flat terrain. Afternoon tea or High tea after at The Priory Hotel, Beauly 4.30pm. SUMMER SERVICES AT OLD HIGH ST STEPHEN’S With a view to strengthening the life of the congregation, the Kirk Session has decided to hold only one service on Sunday in July and August. All our services in July will be at the Old High at 11.15am, and all the August services will be at St Stephen’s at 10am. Easy way to remember: In July at Old High (it rhymes!); in August at St Stephen’s. The Session trust you will give this initiative your enthusiastic support! Please speak to your elder if you have any questions. If anyone has trouble getting to church during this period, please contact your elder, or Pat, our Church Administrator, and we will try to organise a lift.

THE WAY is a group aimed at anyone between the ages of 18-30 in Inverness. Weekly activities include prayer meetings, bible studies, social evenings and events, like trips to Loch Morlich or bowling. CO-ORDINATOR INVERNESS STREET PASTORS Prior experience of applying for grants in the third sector would be an advantage, though not essential. This is a voluntary position at the moment, requiring just 10 hours a month depending on your availability. However, the post could develop beyond this depending upon your time and your talents.
