OUR WORSHIP THIS MORNING IS LED BY REV ARTHUR SINCLAIR, OUR PASTORAL ASSISTANT. Peter, our Minister, has been off work since last Saturday due to a nasty chest infection. However, he does hope to be back sometime this coming week. Thank you all for your concern and good wishes.

OLD HIGH CHURCH OPENING PROGRAMME 2019 The Summer Opening Programme started on Tuesday 4 June (10am-12 noon and 2-4pm) on Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday and Friday each week. We are organising an Open Afternoon for new Volunteers shortly. It is not too late to join the Team. Contact Sheila MacLeod.
PASTORAL CARE Peter, or your Elder, should be informed of anyone ill at home or in hospital.

MEET & EAT Lunch There will be a Church lunch on Thursday 27 June at 12.30pm at the Craigmonie Hotel. All are welcome and transport is available. For more information contact Val Cantlay.

THE SACRAMENT OF HOLY COMMUNION will be celebrated at St Stephen’s next Sunday 30 June. All are welcome at the Lord’s Table. There will be a retiring collection in aid of Mary’s Meals.
AFTERNOON COMMUNION AT ST STEPHEN’S An informal communionwill be held at 3 pm on Sunday 30 June, led by the Minister, to which all are welcome. Elders are requested to collect invitation slips, available at the church doors, to distribute to the elderly and housebound parishioners within their district, and to report back to Malcolm Macrae. Transport will be made available, and tea will be served in the hall after the communion service. Please confirm with your elder if you, or someone you know, require transport. Janet Robertson.
OHSS SUMMER OUTING BEAULY RIVER 7 JULY Due to the success of last year’s walk and refreshments, the outing is to be repeated this year. I hope you can join us. Meet St Stephen’s Car Park 2pm or Black Bridge Car Park near Kilmorack 2.30pm. Low level walk with flat terrain. Afternoon tea or High tea after at The Priory Hotel, Beauly 4.30pm. SUMMER SERVICES AT OLD HIGH ST STEPHEN’S With a view to strengthening the life of the congregation, the Kirk Session has decided to hold only one service on Sunday in July and August. All our services in July will be at the Old High at 11.15am, and all the August services will be at St Stephen’s at 10am. Easy way to remember: In July at Old High (it rhymes!); in August at St Stephen’s. The Session trust you will give this initiative your enthusiastic support! Please speak to your elder if you have any questions. If anyone has trouble getting to church during this period, please contact your elder, or Pat, our Church Administrator, and we will try to organise a lift.

THE WAY is a group aimed at anyone between the ages of 18-30 in Inverness. Weekly activities include prayer meetings, bible studies, social evenings and events, like trips to Loch Morlich or bowling. CO-ORDINATOR INVERNESS STREET PASTORS Prior experience of applying for grants in the third sector would be an advantage, though not essential. This is a voluntary position at the moment, requiring just 10 hours a month depending on your availability. However, the post could develop beyond this depending upon your time and your talents.
