SACRAMENT OF HOLY COMMUNION AT OLD HIGH TODAY All welcome at the Lord’s Table. The Retiring Offering will be in aid of the Maggie’s Centre. Maggie’s offers free practical, emotional and social support to people living with cancer and their family and friends. Built in the grounds of specialist NHS cancer hospitals, Maggie’s Centres are warm and welcoming places, with qualified professionals on hand to offer a programme of support that has been shown to improve physical and emotional wellbeing.

CHRISTIAN AID WEEK Thank you to all those who helped in any way to the coffee morning and those who came and gave so generously and made it such a success. Approximately £1000 was raised. Thanks, too, to all who helped with the door-to-door collection- we hope to have a final figure soon.
OLD HIGH CHURCH OPENING PROGRAMME 2019 The Old High Church will be open from 2-4 pm each Friday afternoon from 19 April until 31 May. The Summer Opening Programme will commence on Tuesday 4 June (10am-12 noon and 2-4pm) on Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday and Friday each week. We are organising an Open Afternoon for new Volunteers next month. It is not too late to join the Team. Contact Sheila MacLeod.

OLD HIGH MUSIC Saturday 1 June at 12 noon will be the annual opportunity to hear young pianists, violinists, a cellist and a clarinet player from around the Inverness Area. They have been invited to come and perform pieces that they have prepared for recent exams or competitions, to extend their experience of playing for an audience. For some this will be their last “home” performance before heading off to University. Your enthusiastic support for them in previous years was much appreciated. Details from Andrew Stevenson. OHSS HANDBELLS Since Tuesday 4 June is our last practice this term, we are having an open night in the Old High church from 7.30pm till 8.30pm. If its a nice Summer evening we’ll ring in the churchyard. Coffee will be served in the church. It will be a very informal evening and you are welcome to come for 10 minutes or longer. Rena Beaton.
